Fabcor is family owned and operated business, established in 2003, that emerged from the merger of two esteemed Orange County entities: Applied Material Technologies, Inc. (AMT) and Strever Assembly and Fabrication (SAF). This union created a unique company combining high-end engineering and design with superior manufacturing capabilities to meet the complex needs of the aerospace, electronics, and medical industries. As a smaller business we can cater more efficiently to your specific needs as a customer.
Our Origins
Applied Material Technologies (AMT)
Founded in 1985, AMT initially specialized in engineering design and testing, servicing major clients such as the U.S. Air Force, Army, Boeing, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and TRW. AMT continues to operate as Fabcor's parent company, supporting it with cutting-edge engineering and design expertise that drives the success of advanced metal fabrication projects.
Strever Assembly and Fabrication (SAF)
For 27 years, SAF was a leading sheet metal fabrication provider in Orange County. Known for its highly skilled staff, SAF built a reputation for quality and reliability across the aerospace, electronics, and medical sectors. The team brought decades of experience in metal fabrication, assembly techniques, and industry-specific knowledge, which remains integral to Fabcor's capabilities.
